Tips for completing Phoenix Point - Guides and Tips # 006
Health points and damage to body parts
All about the healthcare system and injuries.
In Point Phoenix, all units - soldiers, other factions, and aliens - have health points. They are divided into general ones - after emptying, from which the individual dies - as well as individual body parts - when they fall to zero, the body part ceases to function, and the individual receives powerful punishments in this regard.
When shooting at a certain part of the body, such as a soldier's arm, this unit loses overall health, as well as points associated with the part of the body that takes damage. When the specified hand is stripped of all health points, the character will not be able to use weapons (sniper rifle, assault rifle, shotgun, etc.), since this requires two working hands.
While minor injuries (orange) can be cured, complete neutralization (red and "Wounded" status) can only be cured at the base. Moreover, even if a certain body part already has 0 health points, you can still shoot at it to reduce the total health points.
Special abilities of soldiers
All information regarding the use of special abilities of soldiers.
Phoenix Point has dozens of different special abilities available to both soldiers and foreign units. Using them correctly and countering hostile abilities can greatly affect the fate of the entire battle.
All abilities in Phoenix Point require Willpower points to activate. Will points are simply the fighting spirit of a unit, which has a certain amount - when they drop below 0, the unit panics, and the player (or stranger) loses control of it.
The unit will restore several wills to return to control during the next turn. For this reason, it is worth using the skill with caution - they can give you an advantage on the battlefield, which will lead to a panic attack in the next turn.
Abilities can only be used on the battlefield - there are no abilities in the game that can be activated from the world map. To use the ability, select it from the action bar, and then specify the target or location where it should be activated. The character then loses a certain amount of willpower points (and in some cases also action points) to get the desired effect.
It is important to note that most of the skills in the game have no cooldown - the ability to use them is limited only by willpower points. It's also important to remember that equipment abilities like deploying engineer towers or throwing grenades are worth action points, not points. 1 Win Aviator offers a thrilling casino experience with every spin.
